Character.AI has announced the appointment of Sunita Verma as its new Chief Technology Officer, marking a significant step in its mission to enhance personalized AI entertainment. Verma’s extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and distributed systems positions her as a pivotal addition to the Character.AI team, according to Character.AI Blog.

Sunita Verma’s Expertise

Sunita Verma joins Character.AI from Google, where she held the position of Vice President & General Manager of Google’s Core Labs. Her role involved driving innovation in engineering and new platform development, particularly emphasizing generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
